The Press Room

Not just a theatre, Burnley Mechanics is home to the newly refurbished Press Room, a trendy Wine Bar/Restaurant offering an extensive menu of quality food, made from the freshest finest ingredients, home cooked to perfection.

As a freehouse we are able to offer not only a selection of regular ales but over ten guest real ales from Thwaites, Bowland and Moorhouses including; Lancaster Bomber, Nutty Black, Wainwrights, Bowland Gold, Hen Harrier, Blond Witch and Black Cat.

Exceptional wines from France, Chile, Australia, South Africa, Italy and the USA are available by the glass or bottle to compliment your meal, all of the highest quality and sure to please the most ardent connoisseur.

Opening times

Tuesday to Thursday: 11.30am – 6pm - plus pre-show meals

Friday & Saturday: 11.30am – Midnight – last food order 9pm

Sunday: 11.30am – 6pm plus pre-show meal

On performance evenings the bar will remain open until the end of the show

Monday: Open for evening performances only
